It’s a Sign

My Daily Horoscope read:

This could turn out to be a strange day indeed, Taurus, with a lot of unexpected moments. You may receive a gift that you would never have imagined, or get a visit from someone you haven’t seen in a long, long time. The sources of these surprises could also be quite strange, but don’t get immersed in trying to figure it all out – you aren’t supposed to figure it out just yet. Simply ride with the mystery and allow it to bring you a sense of destiny. This is all good.

Most definitely true.

See this is how my day started.

I got to work, threw on my vest and uniform, then off I went to the unknown. I walked into the Emergency Department and chatted with a few people to start off the morning.

And then it happened.

I got dispatched to a room back in the ER where a man wouldn’t stop… Fondling himself in front of a nurse. I didn’t really know what to do other than say “should I pepper spray his palms?”

So after that call was done and over with (he got tired and fell asleep) I went on with my day.

Our department found that they had too many officers on shift. My Lieutenant came up to me and asked if I wanted to take an early out of the shift to go home. What a twist!

I never got to leave early and there was my chance. So I took it.

I then left to grab a bite to eat. So I found myself in line at a Qdoba.

Once I got to the register I scanned my rewards card. A free meal! What another surprise!

It’s funny that I never even questioned any of the things that happened today. I just took what I got and rolled with it (except for that first call this morning… Gross…).

What’s even funnier is that I didn’t even open up my horoscope app until I got home after all that had happened.

Weird how dead on those things can be.

Now time to enjoy the unexpected day off 🙂

I am just the weirdest, friendliest, and possibly even the most annoying person you will ever meet. No one can quite understand me. I try to convince people that I am just an every day average guy but my past life events have not backed me up on that claim. Where life has taken me is where very few have experienced. My ultimate goal here is to share to people that, yes, life can be hard. It will literally push you to the edge of the earth and laugh in your face. I want to let people know that they are not alone. No matter what class, race, or age we all have problems and our successes. My actual job is to literally talk to people. I love my job so much that I started this blog to share to the world my voice, experiences, and opinions about life and its crazy ride that we are all stuck on. If you have anything you want to share or have me write about please feel free to contact me :)
