Working the night shift is really throwing my days off. I can’t remember what day it is or what time it really is when I wake up. I look at my phone and usually I wake up around three in the afternoon. That’s my new seven in the morning… But so far the new job has been great. Everyone has been willing to help me out during the difficult times of learning new stuff. A lot of computer work, patrols, and just random videos we find on YouTube and laugh at. It’s probably one of the best jobs I’ve had so far. Wearing the badge and being called a “Deputy” is really something I’ve been working for. But lately I haven’t really been able to keep calm. Step One of a New Life

I am working throughout the weekend and through the night to just get everything all packed up. Moving is not my favorite thing to do. I do enjoy the excitement of the idea of finding a new place to move to. Looking tirelessly on the internet for a nice looking apartment. I spent hours looking for a nice place to move to. The thing about living in the city I live in now is that it was never hard to know what was a good place and what was a bad place. I’ve lived at my current city for a bout five years now. You start to get the idea of the town and know what place is the good side of town and what side you should probably just keep your doors locked and run through red lights…  But moving about fifty – sixty miles east is not exactly where I know. My Day At Jail

Well as the title suggests I had one heck of a week. I was completely drained by the time all was said and done since the day started out at a very, very early time. I woke up around four in the morning. I got too anxious about what was coming. I decided to clean my whole apartment then shower once all was said and done. I knew I had a car appointment set up at seven in the morning so I at least had something coming up real soon. Once six came around the corner, and my wood floors looking spotless, I hopped in my car and took the very long way to the dealership. I was getting my vehicle inspected before a very long drive and wanted to make sure everything was squared away. What I found really weird was that the dealership was opened for service at seven, but the mechanics don’t arrive until eight. Oh well… I failed to keep my promise in just a day. Not bad though. BUT luckily with the hustle and bustle of the life I have right now everything is falling into place. With four pending offers and one job interview coming up I should be, and hopefully, moving on with my life here shortly. I had a phone interview this past Thursday with a deputy from a sheriffs department just east of my town. He was the sergeant of the department and was asking me all sorts of questions about me. Asked about my work history, what I plan on looking for, and my military service. He asked the million dollar question: What would say if he asked if I could work for their department. I responded with “are we able to set up a time to talk about this in person?” He laughed on the phone and said  good answer.
